History

Date of Birth: September 27th, 1984
Home: Fairfield, Oklahoma, United States
Family: Nootau and Awinita Tsali (parents), Taregan (younger brother); Etu (son)
Chrysalis: Preordainment (Ketewa grew up on the Cherokee Reservation in Oklahoma, raised mostly by her Grandma after her parents split up and left the area; from her grandmother, she learned much about traditional Cherokee life, gardening, jewel-crafting, and herbalism; her mother also turned out to be Kinain to the Nunnehi Family, and led young Ketewa on a vision-quest to stir her faerie soul; after Grandma's herbs stirred her spirit, she went onto a real vision quest and regained her past lives' memories of her faerie truth), 2002
Mentor: Chepi Clearsky
The Test: Trial by Influence (her Grandma directed her to visit a national indigenous festival, and there Ketewa met other Nunnehi who taught her all the basics of faerie life and the craft she would need to both survive and complete her holy role)
Comrades: Anevay Greenwood, Aiyana Greenwood, Sunhawk, Vai Veahtoish, Namida Apiatan, Pana Ohanzee
Key Event #1: Awe & Wonder (Ketewa began to travel the land, mostly the Midwest, beautifying nature and public land as she went)
Key Event #2: Awe & Wonder (then she met Sunhawk and the two Nunnehi fell in love, though their romance was often volatile and argumentative, as despite her shyness she was more open and the Canotili more mistrustful)
Transition: Loss of Companions (during their romance, they had a son in 2005, which they named Etu; together, on the fringes of civilization, they carefully raised their boy; she and Sunhawk still had occasional arguments, sometimes even leading her to take Etu and flee back to the reservation, but she always returned to her true heart, plus she's troubled by some of the grim and apocalyptic dreams she had been having of late...)

Vision

Magnitude: Ketewa can remember back to when White Man first arrived.
Details: Unsurprisingly, the Trail of Tears stands out in particular, and the role she played as a medicine woman trying to keep her people alive on that forced march west.

Chimera

Knife
Appearance: A one-sided iron knife set in a carved deer-horn hilt, as much an herbalist's tool as it is a self-defense weapon
Origin: Inherent

Bunk Styles

Style: Arts & Crafts
Examples: Make jewelry, mold natural greenscape, tell a tribal tale, make willowbark tea

Significant Other

Name: Sunhawk, 2004
Nature: Volatile

Sunhawk

Weakness
Maker's Fingers

Ketewa feels obliged to always be creating and improving on the world around her. She considers it a sacred duty, and so she always keeps busy (by contrast, consider Sunhawk's frequent layabout lifestyle). But sometimes, things must simply be left be.

Likelihood of Corruption

Low.

She's far too busy with her family and sacred duty to worry herself about the greed of European-Americans or the dark spirits they summon.
